Moving on with the ingredients required for preparing the thali for Diwali puja, you need roli for the purpose of tilak, ghanti or bell, akshat, kalash filled with water, silver or gold coins, diya for arti, kalava for tying around the wrist, dhoop or agarbatti, camphor, betelleaves, coconut, sandalwood paste and some flowers. Other than these, you need to place a clean area an image of goddess Laxmi, Ganesha and Swatika.
